Microsoft Flight Simulator doesn’t know slow news days even on the weekend. Today third-party developers have released several add-ons.
We actually start with a development update from Ouroboros, which is working on an impressive Embraer E170. The update was posted on the developer’s Discord server.
Below you can check out screenshots from within the simulator and renders of both the exterior and interior of the aircraft. You can also read an update from the developer.
“Hello everyone! I’d like to show off our nearly completed beta cockpit 3D Model. The model renovations went okay with a lot of optimization and textures still needing love. While the textures are started this month, the displays will continue to get the magic sauce from our screen developer. The decals for the entire cockpit backlighting were put into place and they look outstanding at any angle and focal length.
We would like to demonstrate the jet in a development video, but we have not found a good way to set this up yet and we are rather busy with the jet development itself. Any free time we get goes into making the jet better day by day. Sim Update 5 posed a decent challenge for us this month as a few of our package builders refused to work all together.
I am glad to announce we have assembled our livery team on the E170! Quick Special shout out to Ashie, Holland, Noga for their continuous support when we need it through the screen development process. It means a lot to us!”
