Madden 22 has arrived and brings with it some fresh, new features to the table, alongside some classic staples from previous games. One such feature is the customizable draft classes for Franchise mode. This feature was added back in Madden 19 and has become a crucial part of the series, allowing players to have realistic rookie drafts containing their favorite players from college football. Here’s how to create draft classes in Madden 22.
The good news is that if you’re familiar with how to create draft classes in previous Madden games, you won’t find it difficult to do the same thing in Madden 22, as the process hasn’t changed.
Creating Draft Classes in Madden 22
First off, make sure you reach the point where you can actually draft some players. The first time this is possible is when you enter the ‘Scouting’ screen for the first time.
On the ‘Scouting’ screen, you’ll be asked if you want to import a Draft Class from Madden Share, or if you want to use a randomly generated roster.
The best way to get good, enjoyable custom draft classes in your Madden 22 Franchise mode save is to wait until a major sport gaming community releases their own custom roster, draft classes and sliders for you to download from Madden Share.
Our personal choice is Operation Sports’ custom draft, which has offered up some great options for the past couple of years. That being said, it’s worth noting that greatness isn’t built overnight, and so it might take them a little while to get their Custom Draft sorted and uploaded onto Madden Share for you to download.
Alternatively, simply download a custom draft with a high number of downloads that are already available on Madden Share.
Making Your Own Custom Draft
If downloading other custom drafts in Madden 22 isn’t your thing, you can always skip the Madden Share option when its offered to you, and let the game give you randomly generated players instead. If you choose to do this, accept the option to edit your own players.
Now all you need to do is check out the top prospects in each position by clicking in the left analog stick on PlayStation and Xbox (L3). You can then edit those players to change their stats to those that best reflect those of your favorite college football players.
That’s all you need to know for how to create and download custom draft classes in Madden 22. For more tips, tricks and frequently asked questions answered, search Twinfinite for Madden 22.
