Chain Reaction battles are ones that have you face off against multiple groups of Noise in quick succession. Usually, a single battle will end and you’ll be graded. Chain Reaction battles grade you after multiple fights in a row.

Start by scanning with R1 on PlayStation and R on Switch. Floating Noise symbols will show up, and whenever you touch one, a battle will start shortly.

To start a Chain Reaction in NEO: TWEWY, touch multiple Noise symbols before a battle begins. The easiest way to do this is to walk near a Noise symbol to have it follow you, then continue to do this as more and more symbols trail behind you. Then, simply let them all touch you at once to start the Chain Reaction.

The number of Noise symbols you touch equals the number of rounds you’ll need to fight back to back.

The benefit to starting a Chain Reaction is that the drop rate for the enemies will increase significantly. You’ll be rewarded with more Pins, more EXP, and more yen upon completion. However, the higher the chain, the tougher the Noise that you need to defeat.
