Today third-party developers shared more assets about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, alongside a new release.
First of all, we get the first video of the recently-announced Airbus A320 by Fenix Simulation. We get to see an approach at Sidney and an Autoland procedure.
Do keep in mind that sound isn’t recorded as it’s not ready for prime time yet.
A screenshot shared on the developer’s Discord shows the TCAS system in action, as it can actually fly the aircraft automatically out of harm’s way in case of an imminent collision.
Next comes Aerosoft, with more images of the de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter‘s para jumping version and its rather aggressive livery, on top of the flight deck.
Speaking of Aerosoft, we also heard that the Bombardier CRJ 1000 & 900 package will now be released after the Sim Update on July 27, which will give the developer more time to work on icing.
We then get two teaser videos by FlyByWire showing upcoming features of their A32NX. Specifically, we can take a look at the TCAS alert in action and the enhanced LCD screens that will show detail down to the pixel.
Speaking of airports, Gate15Scenery showcased another early look at its Nanki–Shirahama Airport (RJBD) in Japan, which will have a modeled terminal interior.
We also heard from AUScene, which announced Lord Howe Island Airport (YLHI) and provided a single screenshot of the super-scenic location off the coast of mainland Australia.
The developer also promised updates this week about Ballina Byron Gateway Airport (YBNA) in New South Wales, which is close to release, on top of Hamilton Island airport (YBHM).
Last, but not least, FSDG released Hewanorra International Airport (TLPL) in Saint Lucia in the Caribbean.
It’s available at the developer’s own store for €14,28. Below you can read an official features list and check out a few screenshots.
- Accurate and detailed rendition of Hewanorra International Airport, St Lucia (TLPL)
