Sea Ganoderma is a new plant that has popped up on the Golden Apple Archipelago. Unfortunately, the archipelago will disappear once update 1.7 comes around, so players want to stock up before it’s too late — even if Sea Ganoderma does come back in another new area in the future.

It’s a light blue aquatic plant that can be found in and around the shallow waters near the shores of the islands in the archipelago.

Sea Ganoderma is found in various locations all across the string of islands and it takes about two days to respawn, so it’s a good idea to visit other players’ worlds in order to get as many as you need as quickly as possible, if that’s an option for you.

There are 57 Sea Ganoderma to collect around the archipelago, and here’s where you can find them:

The plant is so valuable right now because it’s used as an ascension material for the newest character, Kaedehara Kazuha. You’ll need a total of 168 Sea Ganoderma to fully ascend Kazuha, along with Vayuda Anemo crystals, Marionette Cores, Hoarder and Raven Insignias, and of course, a bunch of Mora.
