Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun fires a continuous laser beam and deals 12 damage per tick.

While the magazine size is shown above as 1,000,000 it doesn’t actually have a magazine so you don’t need to worry about reloading.

You do need to worry about it overheating and having to cooldown, though, so use it sparingly and in short to medium-sized bursts.

To get the ray gun, you’ll have to beat Zyg and Choppy at Hydro 16, located just west of Misty Meadows.

Once you’re here, head inside the main building and inside you’ll find Zyg and his pet alien Choppy being carried around on his back.

Now all you need to do is defeat the pair and they’ll drop the Ray Gun.

Keep in mind that inside Hydro 16 you’ll find a number of small green alien eggs on the floor.

If you get too close, they’ll burst and the alien parasite will attach itself to your head, limiting your health to a max of 60. This can make the fight against Zyg and Choppy very difficult indeed, so keep your distance and aim for headshots to finish the fight quickly.
