With the Fortnite week 6 quests going live later today, one Epic Quest requires players to ‘plant saplings in Stumpy Ridge, Fork Knife Food Truck or FN Radio. But if you’re unsure exactly how to go about doing that, or where any of these locations are, fear not. This guide will run you through everything you need to know on Fortnite sapling locations.
Where to Plant Fortnite Saplings in Stumpy Ridge, Fork Knife Food Truck & FN Radio
First things first, you’ll need to know where each of these named locations is. We’ve marked each one for you on the map below:
You only need to visit one of these locations, as you can plant three saplings (the amount needed to complete the challenge) at each one.
When you land at a location, you’re looking for pale blue small plant-shaped outlines on the ground. Saplings can only be planted where these outlines are, and not wherever you want to in the areas surrounding each of the named locations.
At Stumpy Ridge, you’ll find two in the south of the location on the lower level, and another up on the higher level near a chest. You can see all three circled in the screenshot below.
At the Fork Knife Food Truck, you’ll find three places to plant saplings in Fortnite just behind the truck itself, on the grass.
Finally, at the FN Radio Station, you can plant another three saplings just to the west of the building. You’ll see the outlines next to a bush, and just by three rocks.
It’s worth noting that if another player has already interacted with and planted a sapling in any of these locations, you then won’t also be able to plant one. As such, we recommend landing at one of these locations straight out of the battle bus, to get in there before your opponents.
