Fortnite Trespasser Locations: How to Eliminate Trespassers (Week 5 Challenge)

One of this week’s Fortnite challenges requires players to ‘Eliminate two Trespassers.’ The tricky part of this challenge comes in knowing where to find trespassers in Fortnite, and then eliminating them before another player does, or even worse, eliminates you. In this guide, we’ll talk you through all Fortnite Trespasser locations and how to eliminate them easily.

What Are Trespassers?

Trespassers are the aliens that can either be found flying the smaller UFOs above the map, or they can be disguised as a friendly NPC.

The easiest way to find them is to seek out the flying UFOs, as it’s very difficult to know which friendly NPC is actually a trespasser in disguise without walking over to each one of them.

Fortnite Trespasser Locations

Trespassers can be found at any named location that is shimmering purple on your map. In the screenshot below, for example, you’d find them at Boney Burbs, Slurpy Swamp and Retail Row.

As we mentioned above, trespassers can also be disguising themselves as friendly NPCs found around the map. While you can try and find one of these, it’s far easier to just hunt the UFOs floating over the map instead.

How to Eliminate Trespassers

To eliminate trespassers in Fortnite easily, simply head for a named location that’s shimmering purple on your map. When you arrive here, jump out of the battle bus and land on top of one of the UFOs flying overhead.

Once you’ve done this, you’ll then be able to get your harvester out and use it to deal damage to the UFO or the Fortnite trespasser itself in the cockpit.

If you deal enough damage to the UFO, it’ll crash to the ground and the trespasser will get out. At this point, you can use your harvester (or another weapon ideally), to drain its health. Headshots will make light work of this, too, so aim for the head.
