As part of the Fortnite week 7 challenges, you’ll need to ‘Construct a Wooden Hatchery’ in Fortnite. You can’t just place one anywhere, though. Instead, you’ll need to find one of the pale blue outlines for the wooden hatchery and interact with it to place it down. This challenge will go live on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 9:00am ET and will expire next Wednesday, July 28. Completing the challenge will earn you 45,000 XP.
Where to Construct a Wooden Hatchery in Fortnite
There are two places you can go to complete this challenge. The first is the island right at the top and center of the map and the other is south of Slurpy Swamp. Both locations are circled on the map below.
On the south side of the island between Stealthy Stronghold and Craggy Cliffs, you’ll find a small wooden hut.
Head inside and you should be able to interact with pale blue outline to construct a wooden hatchery in Fortnite.
The second location you can complete this challenge is right in the southwest corner of the map, directly south of Slurpy Swamp.
Here, you’ll find another island with a small, wooden shack in the swampy waters.
Head inside and once again you’ll find an outline you can interact with.
Holding X/ Square/ Y/ E when next to the outline will see you construct a wooden hatchery in Fortnite, completing the challenge and earning you 45,000 XP.
