While Yuito and Kasane gain extra plug-in slots by unlocking skills, you’ll need to gift your allies certain items in order for them to gain extra plug-in slots. The items in question are known as Plug-In Parallelization Programs.

So how do you go about getting Plug-In Parallelization Programs for your allies? The Programs you need to gift them can be obtained by exchanging at shops or by picking them up randomly.

As random pickups, they look like green, floating masses of data, just like many other items found in various locations across each map. Keep in mind that there is no way to find out what the item actually is until you pick it up. The Programs are usually found in hard-to-reach areas though.

Once you’ve got one, head over to the hideout and gift the item to whichever ally you want to unlock a plug-in slot for.
