Returnal Spaceship Model: What It Does & How to Get It

returnal spaceship model

Returnal is a hard game. Each and every run across Atropos brings its own challenges, and your success can largely come down to the luck of weapon rolls, parasites, artifacts, and items. The Spaceship Model is one of these artifacts that can make your progress through each of the biomes that little bit easier. In this guide, we’ll run you through what the Spaceship Model does in Returnal and how to get it.

Returnal Spaceship Model Explained

The Spaceship Model essentially turns your dash into a damage-dealing attack. It allows you to dash into enemies and deal a good amount of damage. Following up a dash with a melee attack is a devastating combo that can help you kill minor enemies with relative ease.

The Spaceship Model is not a permanent item, so once you die, you’ll lose it and need to find it on your next run to be able to dash attack enemies. It also does not give players a second life, like the Astronaut Figurine and Child’s Watch do.

How to Get It

As with all Artifacts, the Spaceship Model can be purchased from a Fabricator, found in chests scattered throughout the various biomes in the game, or can be given to you as a random reward from using a Reclaimer.

Keep in mind that if you do use a Reclaimer, it will deal damage in return for a random item or piece of equipment. There’s no guarantee you’ll get the Spaceship Model from using them, and you might get something far less useful, so whether you want to take that risk is up to you.

That’s everything you need to know on the Returnal Spaceship Model. For more tips, tricks and guides, head over to our wiki, or see more of our coverage on the game below.
