Resident Evil Village Pre-Order Bonuses

You can pre-order Resident Evil Village on your preferred platform’s digital store right now. Doing so will net you the following digital items:

  • Mini Soundtrack
  • Mr. Raccoon Weapon Charm
  • Survival Resources Pack

If you pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, you’ll get the ‘Trauma Pack’ containing the ‘Samurai Edge’ weapon, the ‘Mr. Everywhere’ accessory, a screen filter, special safe room background music, and more items to help you on your quest through Lady Dimitrescu’s domain.

When You Can Preload Resident Evil Village

Resident Evil Village preload is live right now on Xbox One for those who pre-order the game digitally from the Store.

For PlayStation 4/5 owners, you’ll be able to begin preloading Resident Evil Village from May 5. Again, you’ll need to have pre-ordered the game digitally from the PlayStation Store in order to do this.

At the time of writing, it remains unclear whether PC players will be able to preload the game. If this changes, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.

Resident Evil Village Unlock Times

Once the game has finished preloading, you’ll be able to begin playing Resident Evil Village on Friday, May 7 at midnight in your time zone.

If you try loading up the game before this, it will simply tell you that you’ve got to wait a little longer. Nice try, though!

Install Sizes

Resident Evil Village’s file size is around 29.4 GB on PS4, 27.11 GB on Xbox platforms, and 27.4 GB on PS5. Thanks to PlayStation Game Sizes on Twitter for the info on the PlayStation consoles.
