Resident Evil Village: How to Get Boat Key

resident evil village boat key

After you’ve met Moreau – the third Lord of Resident Evil Village – for the first time, you’ll need to find a new route in and out of his area. This is because he blocks off the original entrance with his goo, and while some portions of it are destructible, most of it willimpede your progress indefinitely. You’ll be guided into the mines via some barriers that Moreau puts up himself, and you’ll come to a boat that you can use to access the waterways and find a way out. Problem is, it won’t start without the boat key. Here’s what you need to know to get the Resident Evil Village boat key.

Getting the Boat Key in Resident Evil Village

To get the boat key, you’ll first need to head to the northern mines and make your way through them.

There are some Lycans inside, so be sure to have your shotgun at the ready to make light work of them.

Once you’ve taken care of the Lycans, head out the other side of the mines and you’ll end up coming across a tree with some bodies hanging from it. Next to this is a building that you can head into. Go inside the building and you’ll find a key rack on the wall. Interact with this, and you’ll then be able to grab the Resident Evil Village boat key.

Now you can return to the boat by heading back through the northern mines. Get on the boat and use the key to start it up, allowing you to make your way through the waterways and continue on with Ethan’s quest to find Rose.

That’s everything you need to know on getting the boat key in Resident Evil Village. For more tips, tricks and guides head over to our wiki, or see more coverage on the game below.
