Anyone looking to get a head start on E3 2021 is in luck, as it was announced earlier today that fan registration for this year’s digital version of E3 opens up on June 3 via E3Expo.com. Additionally, it was revealed that industry professionals or creators/influencers can sign up on May 31 while media will be granted registration access today.
And while the details surrounding specifics on how things will work have yet to be seen, the ESA also promised a virtual experience to go alongside the event in order to make up for it not being in person this year.
That virtual experience includes booths, hosted events, video conferencing, profiles, avatars, online forums, leaderboards, and much more, and will be accessible through a dedicated portal and mobile app.
The website confirmed the following companies will be a part of E3 2021: Nintendo, Xbox, Ubisoft, SQUARE ENIX, Capcom, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games, SEGA, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment, XSEED Games / Marvelous USA, Inc., Gearbox Entertainment, Freedom Games and many more.
This year’s E3 will take place between June 12 and June 15, taking place entirely online for the first time ever. For more information on registration, exhibitors, schedules, fans can head over to the E3 2021 website.
You’ll also want to check back to Twinfinite during that timeframe, as we’ll have plenty of amazing content from the event to share.
