Photo mode has become a common staple of AAA video games. It allows players to pause the action, swing the camera around, add filters and play with all kinds of settings in order to create breathtaking photos in-game. You can hide the HUD, change saturation and brightness levels and much more. But is there an Outriders photo mode? Here’s what you need to know about it.
Is There Photo Mode in Outriders?
Unfortunately, no, there isn’t a photo mode in Outriders.
This is because you’re constantly connected to the game’s servers, and as such, pausing the gameplay would likely cause issues with your connection to the server as you tweaked and fine-tuned your photo mode snapshot.
As such, if you want to take some screenshots or photos to remember your Outriders adventure by, you’ll have to simply take a screenshot with the ‘Share’ button on both Xbox Series X|S controllers and PS4/ PS5 controllers. For PC players, press the Print Screen button on your keyboard, or your shortcut to a third-party screenshot software like Lightshot.
While nothing has been announced, there is always the chance that developer People Can Fly could look to incorporate a type of Photo Mode into Outriders. It’s likely it’d have to be a different style to the usual format we’ve seen the mode adopt in other titles, but it’d be great to snap some sweet shots of Enoch all the same.
