Looking to get your Nier Replicant preload started ahead of the game’s official release on April 23? This guide will talk you through everything you need to know so you can get playing as soon as possible.
Nier Replicant Preload Times for All Platforms
Nier Replicant is available to preload now on Xbox One.
The preload period for the PS4 version of the game will likely go live at some point on April 21, two days before the game’s official release. This is usually when a game’s preload period will begin on Sony’s console. If this isn’t the case with Nier Replicant, we’ll update this post as soon as we know anymore.
Currently, there is no word yet on when Nier Replicant will be made available for preload on PC, if at all. Chances are, if it does go up for preload, it won’t be until 24-48 hours before its official release on April 23.
How to Preload Nier Replicant
In order to actually preload the game onto your system, you’ll need to preorder and purchase the game digitally from your platform’s digital storefront. For example, on PlayStation 4, you’ll need to preorder the game from the PlayStation Store.
Once the purchase is complete, Xbox owners should see the game automatically begin downloading on their console as the preload period is already live. PlayStation owners will need to scroll over to their ‘Library’ select Nier Replicant from the list and choose the ‘Download’ option that appears on-screen.
Similarly, PC players preloading the game will need to select it from their Steam library and then choose the ‘Install’ option.
Nier Replicant Unlock Times
Nier Replicant will be playable at midnight on April 23 in your time zone. If you try and load up the game before this time, you’ll get a message informing you the game isn’t quite ready to play yet.
