Nier Replicant Lost Egg Quest Guide: Where to Find the Chicken Egg

Nier Replicant is more than just a remaster of the original PS3 and Xbox 360 game; it features tons of new gameplay improvements to make the combat feel more engaging, and of course, it’s also a prettier game overall. That being said, the content itself remains more or less the same, and that includes the banal side quests. Here’s where to find the chicken egg in the Lost Egg side quest in Nier Replicant.

Once you’ve completed the prologue and take control of the protagonist proper, you’ll soon be given the freedom to explore the village and even take on side quests from various NPCs. One of the side quests you get in the store area in the village is called The Lost Egg, and requires you to locate a lost chicken egg somewhere in the village.

There are a couple of other NPCs you can talk to in the village to get some hints about its whereabouts. All the NPCs will tell you is that the egg is hidden in a shadowy area, and you might find it in a high up area.

To save you some time, we’ve included a screenshot down below to show you exactly where you can find the egg.

Head over to the fountain in the middle of the village, then go to the ruined pillar just to the east of it. There won’t be a shiny item indicator, but you should still be able to interact with it by pressing the circle button to pick up the egg.

After that, report back to the NPC to complete the quest, and you’re all set.

That’s all you need to know about where to find the chicken egg in Nier Replicant’s The Lost Egg side quest. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
