Once you unlock the Ruins of Remembrance in New Pokemon Snap, you’ve reached the final stages of the game. Just like you did on all of the previous islands, you need to unlock the Illumina Orb that’s found here as part of the story. This one is one of the trickiest ones to find, so we’ve got you covered on how to unlock Ruins of Remembrance’s Illumina Orb.
How to Unlock Ruins of Remembrance’s Illumina Orb in New Pokemon Snap
This course is a little bit longer than the others, and there’s a lot going on at once, so you need to look carefully for the glowing Crystabloom flower here. It’s hidden behind a giant Golurk, but you won’t be able to take a picture of it like this.
Since the Golurk is blocking the Crystabloom completely, you need to move the Golurk out of the way. You can do this by throwing Fluffruit and Illumina Orbs at it to wake it up. Once it is woken up, it will slowly start to move out of the way.
Be careful not to throw too many Fluffruit or orbs at the Golurk after it starts moving. If it is hit again, it will get stunned and stop, wasting valuable time. Let it move out of the way and get ready to snap your picture. The glowing Crystabloom flower will be revealed from behind the Golurk once it moves out of the way completely.
If you’re having trouble finding this particular Golurk, here’s what the spot looks like:
You can see the Crystabloom hidden behind him. Since there are several Golurk in this area, you can also use your scan to locate the Crystabloom flower behind the correct one.
As always, don’t forget to show the picture of the glowing Crystabloom to Professor Mirror, who will be very impressed and hand over the Illumina Orbs for the Ruins of Remembrance. These can be used anywhere on the island, and will be vital for unlocking the final Illumina Spot in the game.
