Monster Hunter Rise is the latest entry in Capcom’s popular action game series, and it should feel instantly familiar to series fans as you’ll still be hunting various monsters for their parts, and using those to craft better gear for yourself when you go on more challenging hunts. Here’s how to get and use Warm Pelts in Monster Hunter Rise.
Getting Warm Pelts in Monster Hunter Rise
Warm Pelts are used for crafting weapons and armor, and the good news is that they’re actually really easy to farm early on in the game. You can farm them from monsters found in the first two zones, the Shrine Ruins and the Frost Islands.
If you head to the Shrine Ruins, look out for a deer-like herbivore monster called the Kelbi, and kill it for a chance to carve out a Warm Pelt. Kelbis can usually be found up north, or in sectors 11 and 13, where the waterfall is.
Alternatively, if you’re out exploring the Frost Islands, you can also hunt the small Antekas found in sectors 1 and 6 for a Warm Pelt. The Anteka isn’t much of a threat either, so you shouldn’t have much of a problem killing them.
Monsters will respawn over time as well, so if you’re on an expedition tour, you should be able to farm a ton of them pretty easily.

As mentioned before, Warm Pelts are used for crafting better gear. Bring them to the smithy in Kamura Village with the other required materials, and you can pay a bit of zenny to get new gear.
