Is Monster Hunter Rise Coming to PC?

Update 03/29/2021: Capcom has officially announced that Monster Hunter Rise is coming to PC. The news was shared as part of an interview with Fanbyte early last month, in which the Capcom Japan Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and Capcom Japan Director Yasunori Ichinose shared the game will come to PC in “early 2022” and is still “very much in development.”

Original Story Below

Capcom did end up releasing Monster Hunter World and its expansion, Iceborne, on Steam for all PC players to enjoy, which has also led to some pretty incredible mods. But I’m sorry to say that it seems very unlikely that Monster Hunter Rise will come to PC.

You see, Capcom is releasing this new entry in the Monster Hunter franchise on the Switch as an exclusive title, meaning that it will not be coming out on PC, or on any other platforms for that matter.

Rise has been built from the ground-up for the hybrid console but if Capcom one day decides to release Rise for PC, we’ll be sure to update this post accordingly.

And that’s all you need to know about whether Monster Hunter Rise is coming to PC. If you’re looking for even more Monster Hunter-related content, you can simply scroll down for our coverage or just search Twinfinite.

If you’re bummed out about Monster Hunter Rise not coming to PC, do not fret. You can still play World and Iceborne for now and there’s also a very big chance that the next mainline game to follow Rise will come to PC, as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, following in the footsteps of World.
