The end is coming to Fortnite, and if you are an invested fan, there are some important details to take note of. Epic Games has penciled in March 16 as the official start date of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6.
As of now, there is no official launch time just yet, but the servers are expected to be down starting from 12 PM ET.
The end of each season of Fortnite has always brought something big to the occasion. However, this time around, Epic Games is doing something different for the upcoming Season 6.
Instead of a cataclysmic event, Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 will be put into motion with a special single-player mission that involves Agent Jones. This particular adventure will be the conclusion of Agent Jones’ mission in the Zero Crisis Finale, and reality will be reshaped yet again.
The mission can be played solo, so you do not have to wait for any of your friends to start the fun.
Following prior seasons of Marvel content and bounty hunters doing their thing, this will be a fresh departure for the battle royale in quite some time. Ahead of the commencement of said mission, fans can catch a glimpse of the action during the global premiere of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6.
This will include what Epic Games call their “most ambitious story cinematic yet” for Fortnite. Timings for the global premiere have yet to be determined at this time.
Before Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 officially starts, players are highly encouraged to spend all their gold bars, with Exotics now getting discounts worth checking out. Your collection of bars will be reset at the end of the season, so why not make it worth your while?
And if you have not finished the Battle Pass, this will be the last week for you to do so. Finish your Beskar Quests, unlock post-Level 100 Crystal Styles, and obtain the Breathless Blades pickaxe, and you will be ready for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 this coming March 16.
