How to Activate Cheats in Valheim

To activate cheats in Valheim, if you’re looking to play in god mode, you need to press F5 to bring up the console commands box. Then, you need to type in “imacheater” to activate cheats. It’s as simple as that.

If you’re looking to just do things like kick people from a server or add your ping to the top corner of the screen, you don’t need to type that in, but any ‘cheat’ will require the “imacheater” step. If you want to see all of the possible commands, type “help” into the box.

With cheats activated, you now need to type in the code for the cheat you want to use. For God Mode, you need to type in ‘God’ and press enter. Once you’ve done that, the cheat will be live and you’ll be able to start causing havoc.

If you want to stop cheats in Valheim, you’ll have to type “imacheater” into the console commands box again.

Valheim God Mode Explained

What God Mode does is make your character invincible (take no damage at all) and be able to defeat enemies in one hit.

No matter what biome you’re in or what weapon you’re using, you’ll take out any enemy with one attack. Fire an arrow at something and it’ll die immediately, and the same is true about one swing of a sword. It completely removes Valheim of any danger, which will be fun for players who just want to explore the beautiful world.

That’s everything you need to know about god mode in Valheim. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our wiki guide or search for Twinfinite.
