Persona 5 Strikers has received a new trailer ahead of its release next week, and it’s all about the latest adventure players will be embarking on.

Streamed through Atlus’ official YouTube channel, the trailer covers scenes from the game’s story, the places the Phantom Thieves will explore in their mission to return people’s stolen Desires and some of the action players can expect from the gameplay. This includes scenes of cities in the real world and their counterparts in the cognitive world of the Metaverse, which have been twisted and reshaped by the game’s antagonists.

The trailer starts with a scene of Joker, Ryuji and Morgana back in the Metaverse, unsure of how they got there. Shortly after, it’s explained that people’s desires are being stolen by an unknown villain or group of villains; one of which is a woman with bright hair and a malicious grin.

From there, the trailer moves into more action-heavy scenes from Persona 5 Strikers. Joker is shown tearing a mask off of a Shadow; Personas are seen gearing up for a blast of magical power; and the party stands triumphantly in front of a group of enemies eliminated via an All-Out Attack.

It all culminates in Lavenza carrying out a Persona fusion, but something seems to have gone wrong. What this resulted in, though, remains unseen.

It’s a hodge-podge of info to be sure, but fans will still want to see it for themselves. The full trailer can be viewed down below.

Persona 5 Strikers is a direct sequel to Persona 5 and the first Musou spin-off title from the Persona series. The game has already received general acclaim from critics, with many applauding its characters and solid mix of action and RPG gameplay.
