Pounce Bounce Isle is a fun little island available to you very early on in Bowser’s Fury. The island makes great use of the bounce pads, with a lot of high-stakes platforming for you to conquer. There are five cat shines available in this area. In this guide, we’ll show you how to get all of the Cat Shines on Pounce Bounce Isle in Bowser’s Fury.

Make the Lighthouse Shine
This one is pretty straightforward and shouldn’t cause you any trouble. All you have to do is reach the lighthouse at the top of the level. Just like you do in Scamper Shores.
Follow the path through the middle until the game teaches you the ground pound ability. Use the bounce pad hidden underneath the crates to launch up to the top platform –alternatively, this and a lot of other obstacles in this section can be skipped if you have the cat suit as you it allows you to climb up a lot of these structures.
Once up there, continue following the path until you reach the area with six bounce pads moving up and down along the side of the large mountain structure, and use them to reach the top.
At the top you’ll find a platform with a bounce pad moving back and forth toward a large wall. Use the bounce pad to get on top and then its a straight walk to the lighthouse’s shine.

Hurry! Jump High, Jump Fast!
After you get the first shine, leave the area and return through the entrance. You’ll see three signs blocking your path pointing you to the large purple button on the right side.
Ground pound the button to start a time trial. You have 20 seconds to reach the lighthouse through the new path opened up by the button.
It’s extremely straight forward and not very tricky. Again, if you have the cat suit –its a cake wake.

Key to the Cat Shine
Leave the area once are and re-enter through the entrance gateway. This time, you’ll see a cat shine stuck in a cage to the left of the entrance. The cage is locked and requires you to find a key.
Travel through the default path to the lighthouse –this time you’ll need to avoid the bullet bills flying toward you. Once you get to the top of the first platform you’ll find some propeller hats that will help you reach the top, except you won’t have to go all the way to the lighthouse.
The key is in the section with two bullet bills sitting next to the two small bodies of water –right before you get to the area with the six bounce pads.
The key is on the top of the wall with the broken section. Use the propeller hat or cat suit to get to the top. You’ll have to grab it using the Y button and will need to manually carry it to the cage to unlock it.

Blast the Fury Blocks
This one can be obtained at any point. To the left of the section where you learn the ground pound ability, you’ll see a little island with a massive wall holding up the platform above.
Here you’ll see a bounce pad and a section of “Fury Blocks” on the wall. You’ll need to wait until Bowser goes into Fury mode to get this one. Once he is in fury mode, just wait for him to blast you with fire and he’ll destroy the blocks, allowing you to grab the cat shine hidden behind them.

Five Cat Shine Shards
You’ll need all five cat shine shards to form the cat shine. These can be found at any point and in any order.
1. The first shard can be found on the first hill after you learn the ground pound. It’ll be in the middle of a squad of blocksteppers. Kill them to be able to grab it.
2. The second shard is immediately behind the first, on the top of the wall to the back. You can climb the wall using the cat suit or propeller hat, or you can use the bounce pads to get to a higher platform and jump across onto the top of the wall.
3. The third shard can be found in the next area after you slide down the large slope. You’ll see the large wall where you grabbed the cat cage key if you’ve already done so. You’ll notice the wall only goes so far across the platform, leaving you a bit of space to run around to the back where you can grab the shine shard.
4. The fourth shard can be found at the top of the highest platform passed the six bounce pads. You’ll see it hanging off to the side. If you have the boomerang upgrade available, throw your boomerang at the shard to get it, otherwise jump off and hope you line it up correctly.
5. Finally, the last shard can be found directly across from the lighthouse under the last big slope you slide down.
