Nintendo is starting the year off strong with a new update for Animal Crossing New Horizons, which adds the Festivale event. Not only that, there are also some additional seasonal items and clothing you can get exclusively during the month of February that you won’t want to miss out on if you’re a completionist. Getting the Valentine’s Day Items in Animal Crossing New Horizons
First things first, make sure you’ve updated your game to the latest version, then boot it up. You can then head over to the Resident Services building to check the shopping app from the Nook Stop terminal, or just check it on your Nook Phone if you’ve already unlocked the phone app.
Inside the Nook Shopping app, select the Special Goods option, then head over to the Seasonal tab. From here, you should see two seasonal items for Valentine’s Day: a box of chocolates and the heart-shaped bouquet.
Both items go for 1,200 Bells each, which isn’t all that expensive, but it’s still good to know especially if you’re running a little low on money. You can then place your order for the items and they’ll be delivered straight to your mailbox the next day. Do note that you can only order up to five items per day from the shopping app.
You have until Feb. 14 to purchase those items though, so you have plenty of time to get your orders in before they disappear for the rest of the year. Of course, if you do happen to miss out on the items, you could always time travel backwards to order them again.
