Genshin Impact Starglow Cavern Gate: How to Get Princess Box, Priest’s Box, & Scribe’s Box

With the release of update 1.2 for Genshin Impact, players will now get to explore the icy Dragonspine region. As you can probably guess, there are quite a few new little puzzles for you to tackle, along with hidden areas that you have to figure out how to access. One such area is the Starglow Cavern, which you’ll notice has a translucent gate blocking your path. To access it, you’ll need three items: the Princess’ Box, Priest’s Box, and Scribe’s Box. Here’s how to get all of them.

Getting the Princess’ Box in Genshin Impact

Your first order of business when it comes to the Starglow Cavern gate is to obtain the Princess’ Box. First off, teleport to the fast travel point near the Snow-Covered Path, as indicated in the screenshot down below.

From there, head over to the small island just to east of the fast travel point and start the challenge there. If you manage to defeat all opponents within the time limit, you’ll be rewarded with the Princess’ Box.

Priest’s Box

Up next, you’ll need to obtain the Priest’s Box. For this item, head to the fast travel point just northwest of Starglow Cavern itself, as indicated in the screenshot down below.

From the fast travel point, head up slightly north to find some ruins. Climb to the top of the ruins and you should find a chest containing your prize.

Scribe’s Box

Finally, the last item you need to open the Starglow Cavern gate is the Scribe’s Box. You’ll want to head back to the fast travel point back at Starglow Cavern, then head slightly west of that to find a stone monument.

At the monument, you’ll need to place some Cecilia flowers down to obtain the Scribe’s Box. If you don’t have any on hand, you can find some Cecilias at the very east of the Mondstadt region, above the Thousand Winds Temple at Starsnatch Cliff.

With all three items in hand, you can then head back to Starglow Cavern and open up the gate. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
