Genshin Impact Crimson Wish System Explained

You’ve likely already unlocked the Frost-bearing Tree while exploring Dragonspine, but just in case you haven’t, here’s a quick rundown of how to do that.

You can explore the Dragonspine Adventurer’s Camp to find an NPC who will give you a quest called In the Mountains. We’ve got a full quest guide for you here, but basically, the first step in this quest will lead you to the Frost-bearing Tree, which is where you can turn in all of your Crimson Agates to level it up and collect rewards.

genshin impact crimson wish

Once you’ve hit level 8 with the Frost-bearing Tree, you’ll finally unlock Genshin Impact’s Crimson Wish system, which generates five commissions for you to do. After completing the commissions, you’ll receive one Crimson Agate for your efforts.

This is especially helpful since by the time you hit level 8, you’ll have likely collected most, if not all of the Crimson Agates that are randomly scattered around the Dragonspine region.

Crimson Wish Reset Time

The bad news is, unlike the regular daily commissions, the Crimson Wish doesn’t reset daily. Instead, you’ll have to wait till 4 a.m. (your server time) on every Monday and Friday for more commissions to generate.

Once it resets, you can do your commissions again to get yet another Crimson Agate. Once you have enough, you can continue to turn those in to the Frost-bearing Tree for more useful rewards.

That’s all you need to know about how the Crimson Wish system works in Genshin Impact. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
