What Is Street Cred?

Street Cred is essentially how V is perceived in Cyberpunk 2077 –think something similar to the ‘reputation’ mechanics we’ve seen in many games gone by. As you increase your Street Cred, you’ll unlock new vendors around Night City.

It’ll also unlock new, better weapons and items from shops you already had access to.

Max Street Cred in Cyberpunk 2077

If you want to get the Platinum trophy or all of the achievements for Cyberpunk 2077, you’ll need to reach max Street Cred.

The max Street Cred you can reach in Cyberpunk 2077 is level 50. Once you reach this, you’ll unlock the ‘Legend of the Afterlife’ trophy and achievement.

How to Increase Street Cred in Cyberpunk 2077

You can increase your Street Cred in the following ways:

  • Main Story Missions
  • Eliminating Optional Bounties
  • Completing Gigs

The obvious way to increase your Street Cred is to simply complete quests around Night City. These can be main story missions or side quests.

Another quick way of increasing your Street Cred is to scan people as you’re walking around the streets of Night City. Some citizens are wanted by NCPD, and you can either kill them or non-lethally take them down in order to claim a nice Eurodollar reward and up your Street Cred in Cyberpunk 2077.

Finally, you can complete Gigs for that region of Night City’s Fixer. Whenever you come close to a Gig that needs completing, a Fixer will call V on their phone, and you can then choose to take the mission on at any time.

That’s everything you need to know on the max Street Cred in Cyberpunk 2077, so you can unlock the ‘Legend of the Afterlife’ trophy and achievement. For more on the game, head on over to our Cyberpunk 2077 guide wiki, search for Twinfinite or check out more of our coverage below.
