Watch Dogs Legion Skye Larsen’s Fate: Should You Kill or Upload?

Watch Dogs Legion is the third main entry in Ubisoft open world sci-fi series, and this game features a new gameplay mechanic that definitely sets it apart from its predecessors. Instead of following the story with one set protagonist, you can now recruit NPCs from the open world and play as them instead. However, the story beats remain largely the same. If you’re wondering how you should handle Skye Larsen’s fate in Watch Dogs Legion, and whether you should kill or upload, here’s what you need to know.

Skye Larsen’s Fate in Watch Dogs Legion: Kill or Upload?

We’ll just cut to the chase: whether you choose to kill or upload Skye Larsen, your decision makes no difference whatsoever in the grand scheme of things. This decision seems like a pretty major one, but it doesn’t affect the story and if you were worried about souring DedSec’s relations with 404 and Nowt, you don’t have to be.

When you reach the final 404 mission titled Into the Void, the end of the mission will task you with deciding Skye Larsen’s fate. You can choose to either kill her, or upload her consciousness and essentially grant her immortality.

Going to the terminal on the right will kill her, while the left terminal will let you upload her consciousness.

What Happens If You Kill Skye Larsen

If you kill her, you’ll get a call from Nowt after the mission, and she’ll talk about how you’ve made the right choice and that she looks forward to continuing her professional relationship with DedSec.

What Happens If You Upload Skye Larsen

If you choose to upload, Nowt will berate you before hanging up on you. However, she’ll call you again a few minutes later to apologize for her outburst and say that she still wants to work with DedSec. The story will continue on as per normal from here, as if the whole Skye Larsen thing never happened.
