Following today’s reveal of Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Series X and Xbox One X gameplay, CD Projekt RED announced via press release that more is coming for PlayStation fans.
The press release announces that more gameplay is coming focusing on PlayStation consoles.
A precise date and which consoles exactly we’ll see in action was not specified just yet.
“A PlayStation gameplay video is also planned for release, with a specific date set to be revealed in the near future via the game’s official channels.”
The press release also clarifies that the Xbox Series X glimpse we saw today wasn’t the upcoming dedicated version for the new console, but the Xbox One version running via backward compatibility. The Xbox Series X (and PS5) version will come at some point next year, so there’s plenty of room for improvement there.
Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC (the system requirements have recently been revealed), and Google Stadia. It has also been confirmed to be coming for Xbox Series X and PS5 down the line with upgrades available for those who purchase the game for the current generation of consoles.
It was recently delayed (again) to Dec. 10, 2020.
