The tactical nuke made its first appearance back in the days of Modern Warfare 2. After getting 25 kills without dying, the player could call in a nuke to kill everyone on the map and automatically win the game for the team the player was on.

Since then, the killstreak has made a couple of other appearances in the series, even away from the Modern Warfare sub series.

Is There a Nuke Scorestreak in CoD Black Ops Cold War?

In short, no, there is no tactical nuke scorestreak in Black Ops Cold War. Whether you get to 25 kills in a row, a certain score amount, or even more kills than that, you won’t get to call in a nuke.

However, the game does call back to the popular killstreak in the form of a medal. When you get 30 kills in a row, without dying, you’ll be given the Nuclear Killer medal to show off to your friends and opponents.

While it doesn’t do anything in game, so it’s underwhelming in comparison to the nuke scorestreak, it’s a nice little bonus that could have been left out entirely.

You’ll get one each time you get 30 kills in a row without dying, so you can at least show off to people how many times you would have got a nuke in previous Call of Duty games.

That’s everything you need to know about whether there is a nuke scorestreak in Black Ops Cold War. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our wiki guide or search for Twinfinite.
