How to Sleep & Pass Time in Bugsnax

In each biome of Snaktooth Island, you’ll meet a new character who’s moved there to get away from Snaxburg. Since they’re living there, you’ll find a bed of some kind nearby. Whether it be a small bed or a sleeping bag on the floor, they’re easy to spot and will usually be right by the character you’re doing quests for.

You’ll also be able to sleep in any empty bed in Snaxburg. Just walk into someone’s hut and press square to interact with it, provided they’re not sleeping themselves.

As for what to choose, it’s best to check the information on the particular Bugsnax you’re trying to catch by scanning it or looking at its entry in your journal. It should say what time of the day it’ll come out, allowing you to catch it.

Just select the option you want from the list, the screen will go dark as you sleep, and you’ll be back in the same spot at the time you selected.
