Bugsnax: Can You Fast Travel? Answered

bugsnax, fast travel

Bugsnax‘s world is split into nine different biomes, each with a different theme and selection of Bugsnax you can catch. During some quests, you’ll have to travel to different locations to catch a particular creature and pick up certain sauces. As you go between each area, the game will load, so it can take a little while to get around. If you’re getting annoyed at the wait times, here’s everything you need to know about whether you can fast travel in Bugsnax.

Most of your traveling will start from Snaxburg, Snaktooth Island’s town, with there being four ways to go from there. You’ll get access to more as you progress through the story, with there being a loading screen between each one, which can be particularly long if you’re playing on a base PS4.

Can You Fast Travel in Bugsnax?

In short, no, there is, unfortunately, no fast travel system in Bugsnax. There’s no place you can go to skip biomes and none of the characters in the game will offer you a way to jump to different places.

What we’d recommend is planning your trips ahead of time. If you need to collect a few different Bugsnax at a time, collect them in order of your travel, rather than going back and forth between areas.

Also, be sure to stock your Slinger up with sauce before you travel anywhere. There’s nothing more annoying than going to, say, Sizzling Sands and not having the Chocolate Sauce you might need.

You can collect five of any sauce type you’ve already collected elsewhere from Wampus’ farm in Snaxburg. Stock up there before you head off anywhere else.

If a fast travel system is added to Bugsnax sometime in the future, we’ll be sure to let you know when.

That’s everything you need to know about whether you can fast travel in Bugsnax. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite or check out our review.
