Is There a Difficulty Trophy & Achievement in Black Ops Cold War?

The short answer is yes, there is one. While there’s one trophy and achievement that’ll unlock when you complete the campaign on any difficulty, there’s another that specifies the level you need to play on.

The difficulty trophy/achievement is called Combat Hardened, is a Gold and worth 100 Gamerscore, and asks you to to the following: “Complete the Campaign on Veteran or Realism difficulty.”

As of the time of writing, only 0.5% of the PlayStation player base has unlocked the trophy, so it’s not going to be easy.

Thankfully, if you’re confident you’ll be able to get all the trophies and achievements, the trophies stack. Therefore, you’ll be able to play the campaign once on Veteran or Realism difficulty and you’ll get both campaign completion trophies at the same time.

This time around, there are no individual trophies or achievements for completing individual missions on higher difficulties, which is helpful. You’ll get some for just completing most of the individuals missions on any difficulty, so playing through the campaign will get you a nice chunk of them ticked off.

That’s it for whether there’s a difficulty trophy and achievement in Black Ops Cold War. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our wiki guide or search for Twinfinite.
