While increasing your version of Eivor’s max health will help you somewhat, there’s quite a lot of power level gating in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, with some particularly powerful enemies being unbeatable if you’re far below their level. No matter how much health you have at the time, you’re unlikely to be able to beat them.

What you need to do is take a look through the whole of the skill tree and aim to unlock the skills that offer a health buff. There are loads of them scattered through the trees, so just unlock the skills that lead to them and sink the skill points you’ve earned into them.

As far as we can tell, any skill tree section, across stealth, melee, range and others will feature skills that increase max health.

That’s as much as you can do, so don’t go wasting your hard earned skill points on skills you don’t really want if you’re looking to get more health. It’s best to save them for something you really want than spending them on something you won’t really take advantage of.
