Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Asgard Unseal the Well Puzzle Solution (Well of Urd)

asgard, light puzzle, unseal the well, valhalla

While Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s main storyline is all about establishing the Raven Clan’s position in England, there’s also a second questline based on Norse mythology. Playing as Odin (but called Havi), players will embark on a quest to save Asgard from both the Jötnar and nefarious forces even closer to home. But outside of pure combat there are one or two tricky puzzles to beat. Here’s how to unseal the well of Urd by solving the light puzzle in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Unseal the Urd Well Asgard Puzzle Solution For Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

The Well of Urd puzzle you’ll encounter as you descend down into Asgard’s depths is a real mind-bender at first glance.

You’re tasked with unsealing the well by pointing a light beam at its source. The trouble is –and you’ll probably have discovered this if you’re looking up this guide– you need more than a single light source to activate both the receptors.

So how do you make one beam become two? Well, the trick is to aim the light source at the diamond-shaped reflector at the cavern’s entrance. Did you see it? We certainly didn’t even realize it was part of the puzzle until we’d attempted to manipulate the mirrors into several different patterns.

As you can see above, the only way to solve this puzzle is to split the light source into two beams.

Once you’ve done that, you simply need to arrange the mirrors to reflect toward one of the receptors, while the one directly to the right of the original is used to shoot a beam at the moveable crystal. This moveable crystal bends the light 90 degrees and straight toward the second receptor.

That is everything you should need to know about how to unseal the Well of Urd light puzzle in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. For more useful tips on the game, be sure to check out Twinfinite’s guide wiki.
