Glory is Star Wars Squadrons primary currency, which you’ll use to unlock a huge amount of cosmetics for customizing both your Pilot and your Ship. There’s no surprise then, that you’re eager to find out how to get Glory in Star Wars Squadrons so you can kit your ship out with your own personal sense of style.
Getting Glory in Star Wars Squadrons
Glory can be earned by completing Daily Challenges, improving your Fleet Battle Rank and leveling up in Star Wars Squadrons‘ multiplayer.
Daily Challenges, as their name suggests, are refreshed daily and will offer up a small amount of Glory for completing them. The amount of Glory you receive for completing these is often enough to unlock a new cosmetic item for your pilot or starfighters.
Your Fleet Battle Rank is tied to the game’s Operations. These are similar to seasons or Battle Passes in other games and offer up their own, tougher challenges. Your Fleet Battle Rank is skill-based and resets with every new Operation. Each ‘rank’ awards players with Glory. The higher your rank, the more Glory you’ll get.
The amount of Glory you get from improving your Fleet Battle Rank is significantly more than you’ll get from completing a Daily Challenge, but isn’t awarded to players as frequently. As such, you’re best working on completing the Daily Challenges while you play, killing two birds with one stone.
Finally, players can earn a small amount of Glory from leveling up. As shown in the screenshot below, reaching level 2 rewards players with 200 Glory, as well as 2 Requisition.
Are There Glory Microtransactions?
Believe it or not, Star Wars Squadrons has no microtransactions whatsoever.
That means you can’t just pay your way to unlocking all the cosmetics in the game. Instead, you’ll need to play and earn Glory through the methods we’ve mentioned above.
