Guilty Gear -Strive- for PS5, PS4, & PC Reveals Release Date, New Character Giovanna & Mito Anji

Today Arc System Works had a few announcements to make about its upcoming fighting game Guilty Gear -Strive-.

First of all, we get a release date for the game, which will be April 9, 2021, for PS5, PS4, and PC. It’s worth mentioning that for now this date has been confirmed only for Japan.

We also get the reveal of two characters. The fist is a new character, Giovanna, voiced by Mayumi Shintani.

Interestingly, she works as the bodyguard for the President of the United States.

The second is a returning character, Mito Anji. The next trailer will be on January 1st, 2021, just in time to celebrate the new year.

There is another character in the starting roster, but that will be revealed at a later date. The initial roster will include 15 characters.

Another reveal involved the existence of a season pass that will add more characters down the line. Of course, they will also purchasable separately.

The story mode will be very extensive, more than the previous games.
