How to Reach Musk Reef in Genshin Impact

Where It’s Located

Musk Reef is located at the very bottom-right of the Genshin Impact map. It’s directly to the right of Cape Oath, which is where you’ll need to go in order to get to Musk Reef.

How to Get There

Once you reach Cape Oath, you’ll have to complete a small puzzle in order to get to Musk Reef. The first thing you’ll notice is a large vortex floating in mid-air that you can’t reach – that’s your goal here. The camera will even zoom in on it automatically.

In order to get up to the dark vortex, you’ll need to guide three Seelies to their destinations. Seelies are blue ghost-like creatures that just float around, waiting to help you out.

There are three pedestals below the vortex, and three Seelies in the general vicinity, behind each pedestal. Simply walk up to them one at a time, and follow each of them until they reach their respective pedestal.

Be on your guard, though. There are a number of Slimes waiting to ambush you once you get the puzzle started. They’re around level 20, so you might want to level up a bit, or try to avoid them completely.

After that little puzzle is completed, a gust of wind will shoot up from the ground. Jump into it and float up by pressing X in mid-air. The vortex is a portal that’ll take you right to Musk Reef.

Musk Reef doesn’t have a fast travel point, so you’ll need to teleport to the one at Cape Oath in order to return.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get to Musk Reef in Genshin Impact. Be sure to check out our guide wiki for the game for more tips.
