Explore & Unlock the Tri Seal in Genshin Impact

The area in question where this quest takes place is to the east of Mondstadt in Duadapa Gorge. In the center of said gorge you should see a mysterious sword cemetery with a chest surrounded by three magic spheres in the middle.

Your goal is to break each of those seals to grab the loot from within the chest, which means lighting up three elemental statues located nearby. You’ll need Fire, Electro, and Cyro characters in your party to activate each statue.

Two of them are found in Hilichurl forts, while the third is in the middle of an arena but only reveals itself after players complete a combat challenge. You can see the locations highlighted above.

Of the three statues to unlock, it is the timed combat challenge to the north that’s probably hardest. Still, it’s not especially tough and you should be able to beat it fairly easily (we beat it within the first few hours of the game without knowing what it was for).

The two Hilichurl bases south of the gorge are easy to spot, and in both cases dispatching the enemies in the area is simple enough. For each elemental statue you unlock, you’ll see a short cutscene indicating one seal layer has been broken.

That should be everything you need to know about how to explore and unlock the tri seal in Genshin Impact. For more useful tips and guides on the game, see Twinfinite’s wiki. You can also read our review here for our thoughts on the game.
