The heart-shaped island can be found in grid reference A4, just southwest of Sweaty Sands. It’s just off the west coast of the main Battle Royale island, and is nearby a number of other small rocks and islands. We’ve circled its location on the map below.

Once you’re on Fortnite’s heart-shaped island, walk to the center of the island to find a dirt patch. When you’re standing next to this, press and hold the ‘Interact’ button prompt that appears on-screen to plant a seed as Groot.

Remember, you’ll have to manually select the ‘Groot’ skin from your ‘Locker’ in Fortnite, otherwise you won’t be able to complete this challenge. As you can see in the image above, using a different skin will not allow you to plant the seed on the heart-shaped island in Fortnite.

Upon completing this challenge, players will then need to high-five at a friendship monument, and also find a Baby Groot at Holly Hedges to unlock an adorable backbling.

That’s everything you need to know on where the Fortnite Heart-Shaped Island location is to plant a seed as Groot. For more tips, tricks, and guides, head on over to our guide wiki, search for Twinfinite, or check out more of our coverage below.
