You’ll first need to download the My NBA 2K22 app onto your phone. The app can be found through both the Apple and Android app stores and allows you to carry out a number of functions related to the game. It will then link the results of said actions to your in-game account. This includes doing a scan via your camera which can be used to apply facial information to a created character to give them your appearance.

Download the app, then open it and sign in and connect to the account on the platform that you want to play the game on. Select the Face Scan MyPlayer option that’s found in the top-left corner of the screen. Then, follow the steps it lays out to record your facial information.

Once the information is saved, you can then boot up NBA 2K22 on your console of choice, open up MyCareer Mode and select the Check for Face Scan option while creating your character.
