New game plus modes have become a bit of a staple in the gaming industry as of late. Providing players with the option to start a campaign over again but retain all their gear, items, and character progression, they add extra longevity to games. Is There New Game Plus in Marvel’s Avengers Game?
Unfortunately, there isn’t an official new game plus mode in Marvel’s Avengers. But that doesn’t mean that the fun has to stop once you’ve finished the campaign.
If you enjoy the chaotic action of Marvel’s Avengers’ single-player, you can always head into the Avengers Initiative mode, which sees players teaming together to take on tough missions, grinding out powerful gear and Artifacts, and making use of perfect team synergy to stop evil in its tracks once and for all.
Plus, the Avengers Initiative is due to get new content releasing frequently, with weekly challenges and new superheroes joining the roster over time.
If you enjoyed the single-player campaign, you can always replay that from the beginning, too, but on one of the harder difficulties such as Hard or Brutal. This will provide some additional challenge as you help Kamala assemble the Avengers once more.
Can You Replay Story Missions?
There’s no way to replay the story missions outside of starting the entire campaign over again from the beginning, resetting your progress entirely.
