This is the latest in the year that a new Call of Duty has ever been revealed and Activision is changing the game in how exactly they do it. For weeks now, teases have been released in Warzone, asking players to open bunkers to find mysterious rooms. Now, it has been confirmed that the full reveal of 2020’s Call of Duty, Black Ops Cold War, will be done in the hit battle royale. So that you can be one of the first to see the full reveal, here’s everything you need to know about what time the CoD Black Ops Cold War event is in Warzone.
Much like Fortnite has done for a few seasons now, it seems like the reveal of the new Call of Duty will be some big in-game event that you can see when logged into the game. What shape that’ll take exactly, we don’t know, but the teases that have come over the past few weeks suggest it’ll be pretty exciting.
What Time the CoD Black Ops Cold War Event Is in Warzone
An update came to Modern Warfare today, Aug. 25, so you’ll need to have that downloaded first. It’s primarily for the new Season 5 Reloaded content, but I’d be surprised if there wasn’t come Black Ops Cold War info hidden in there somewhere.
What you need to do to get involved with the Warzone in-game event is log into the game and be in a match at the specific time the reveal is due to happen. It’s on Wednesday, Aug. 26 and the time you need to be in is:
- 10:30am PT
- 1:30pm ET
- 6.30pm BST
As long as you’re in a match at that time, you should be able to see the reveal, in whatever format it is presented.
Do note though, that it might be smart to be logged into Modern Warfare’s Warzone mode ahead of that time due to how busy the servers are likely to be for the Black Ops Cold War event. You don’t want to get stuck in the menus and be unable to see the reveal.
That’s everything you need to know about what time the CoD Black Ops Cold War event is in Warzone. For more on the new game once it has been revealed, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
