Now what’s important to note right off the bat is that you won’t be able to get Linen Fabric until you reach a specific point in Spirit Gwen’s questline. It involves her going to Villa Magiore, her old home. Take her there and she’ll ask you to go inside and get her music box.

Go inside the building and follow the lights in the house. You’ll take a windy path up and down the different floors until you reach a balcony with a spirit on.

Just to the right of the spirit, you’ll find Gwen’s music box, as well as a Loom upgrade.

Return to Gwen just outside the Villa and hand over the music box. She’ll tell you that you can now upgrade the Loom on your ship. Return there with her and go through the dialogue with her.

Upgrade your Loom by going to your Blueprint and tabbing to the ‘Improve’ option. Here, you’ll find the Loom upgrade that you’ve just unlocked. It requires the following materials:

  • 120 Glims
  • 18 Linen Thread
  • 10 Maple Plank
  • 8 Bright Jelly

Craft the upgrade for your Loom and then head there. You’re now ready to make Linen Fabric.

How to Get Linen Fabric in Spiritfarer

To get Linen Fabric, head to your upgraded Loom and speak with Gwen. All you now need to do is simply select the Linen Thread to use on the Loom.

Linen Fabric is more or less crafted the exact same way as your Linen Thread. You’ll do the same mini-game, holding X/ Square/ Y and releasing it when the illuminated area of the loom reaches the arrowhead.

The mini-game for Linen Fabric is slightly faster than Linen Thread, but otherwise the exact same. The closer you are to the arrowhead, the more Linen Fabric you’ll get from each of your Linen Threads.

That’s all you need to know on how to get linen fabric in Spiritfarer. For more tips, tricks, and guides on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite or check out more of of Spiritfarer coverage below.
