Today MiHoYo announced the release date for the PC, iOS, and Android versions of its upcoming action-RPG Genshin Impact.
The game will launch on the platforms mentioned above on September 28th and it’ll be an online free-to-play game-as-a-service.
It can be played both solo and in co-op with up to four players, and you can expect the following at launch.
“As a free-to-play online title, Genshin Impact enables players to explore Mondstadt and Liyue Harbor – two of the seven major cities in Teyvat – each with unique cultural ambience, stories, vast surrounding landscapes full of diverse creatures and enemies, mysteries, and hidden treasures. Furthermore, the game will continue to expand with more cities, following stories, new characters and seasonal events through live-service updates to enrich the gameplay and expedition in the continent of Teyvat.”
Pre-registration on both mobile platforms has opened today. The release date for the PS4 has not been announced and all we know is that it’ll come “this fall.”
