Many changes have appeared in the new season of Apex Legends. Respawn has provided a hefty update, and the new crafting feature is one of the biggest additions to the game. For those who want to know more about it, here’s how crafting works in Apex Legends Season 6.
How Crafting Works in Apex Legends
Collecting Crafting Materials
Before you can actually craft, you’ll need to collect Materials. This can be done by locating the numerous orange and black pods scattered throughout the map in each match. They’re filled with a glowing green substance, so the pods are pretty hard to miss.
Over the course of Apex Legends Season 6, these Crafting Material pods will move around. They’ll be in different spots in each match, so players will need to explore a bit to find them.
Crafting Materials can also be obtained through simply opening loot bins, but you’ll receive far less Materials this way.
Crafting Items
In order to craft items in Apex Legends, players will need to locate Replicators after gathering Crafting Materials. They can create things like ammo, healing items, attachments, guns, and more. They can even level up your Evo Armor, for the right price.
Replicators are essentially three-sided crafting consoles that act as 3D printers in Apex Legends. They can be extremely useful if you’re in a pinch and low on resources.
However, it’s important to know that Replicators take time to create the item you want. You’ll need to stay near it as it serves up your order. And if you use it to enhance your Armor, you’ll need to take your Armor off while that process is underway.
Rotating Selection
Another noteworthy piece of info is that the selection of items to craft isn’t static. This means that, throughout Apex Legends Season 6, items will regularly be rotated in and out of the Replicator’s crafting menu daily and weekly. Though, some items are permanent.
You can always check which items are available to craft on the game mode selection screen, or whenever you pull up your map in a match.
The guns and attachments available for crafting in the Replicators cannot be found as regular loot on the ground. They have to be created to be obtained.
That’s everything you need to know about how crafting works in Apex Legends Season 6. If you haven’t gotten a good look at Rampart yet, be sure to check out the new Legend’s abilities before going up against her in matches.
