Legend is as close as you’ll get to a level in Ghost of Tsushima. As you play, you’ll increase it, getting a new title, and unlocking more Technique Points as you hit each rank.

Like with charms you’ll unlock, each Legend is like a wheel with notches on it as you can see in the screenshot below. You get a new Technique point at each notch, allowing you to upgrade Jin’s abilities.

The little 4 above the notches indicates how many Technique Points you have to spend.

How to Increase Your Legend Fast & Easy in Ghost of Tsushima

Increasing your legend is almost all about combat. By defeating bandits you encounter across the map, successfully beating camps or forts of Mongols, or completing any sort of quest, your legend increases. However, there are a couple of things you can do if you want to focus on increasing Jin’s Legend quickly.

If that’s something you’re intent on doing, liberating camps and forts or completing quests is your fastest route to increasing your Legend.

If you want to make sure your Legend is up before tackling the story, just focus on liberating camps and knocking off Tales of Tsushima, which are the game’s side quests.
