For the most part, Nintendo’s console hybrid isn’t one that is home to many racing games. Burnout Paradise Remastered recently made its debut there and GRID Autosport is one of the few simulation racers to release on it.

With F1 2020 just releasing though, maybe Codemasters have thought that they could branch out beyond PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Is F1 2020 Coming to Nintendo Switch?

Well, let’s cut right to the chase. F1 2020 is not out now on Nintendo Switch and it is unlikely that it ever will be.

Codemasters hasn’t commented on whether they have any plans to do so or not, but F1 2020 isn’t really a game that’ll work particularly well on Switch, especially in handheld mode.

F1 2020 is all about precision, with you needing to hit the perfect racing line to shave each thousandth of a second off your time that’s possible. While that would probably be okay on a TV with a Pro Controller, the experience just wouldn’t be quite right in handheld mode or with Joycons.

Also, it’s likely a question of power. The Switch might not be able to handle the game, with the visuals and amount of content in F1 2020 possible being too much for a handheld hybrid.

Of course, if Codemasters ever comment on the possibility of F1 2020 or future games in the series coming to Switch. we’ll be sure to update you here.

That’s everything you need to know about whether F1 2020 is coming to Nintendo Switch. For more on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
