Today, during the New Game + Expo, NIS America closed the showcase with the announcement of the western release of Nihon Falcom’s Ys IX: Monstrum Nox.
Not only we learn that the game is coming west in 2021, but it’s also getting two new platforms. On top of the original PS4 version, it’s also coming for PC and Nintendo Switch.
It’s certainly going to be a long wait, but at least fans of the series will be happy to know that we’re getting it in English.

If you’re unfamiliar with Ys IX: Monstrum Nox, it’s the latest chapter of the Ys series, and it was released in Japan only for PS4 in September 2019.
